Better fruit and vegetable storage
Fruit and vegetables require special conditions when stored in a refrigerator. Specifically moist, high humidity, low temperature environments are most suitable for prolonging the life of your fresh produce.
The fruit and vegetable bins in our refrigerators feature a unique cover which provides two specific functions, first the humidity cover seals the bins and provides a humid microclimate to extend storage times of fruits and vegetables, and secondly it traps condensation preventing the contents of the bin from sitting in water or allowing water to drip, causing rotting. This condensation moves to the back of the lid and evaporates.
