Smart Drive™ Technology

Fisher & Paykel Smart Drive™ machines are made of just three main parts: a small computer, a flexible agitator, and a simple direct-drive motor. This means washing machines that can sense each load, use less water and run with less moving parts.

Auto Water Level Sensing
Smart Drive™ Technology is used to determine the right amount of water for each load. People often over-estimate the amount of water required for each load. Washing is a chemical reaction so too much water means a dilute detergent solution, and less soil removal.

Automatic Temperature Sensing
The Smart Drive™ control system uses an inbuilt thermometer to precisely mix water to the required temperature. This saves power by making washing in cooler temperatures possible through-out the year. It ensures you get better performance.
